Abstract Lines

As it should be, the purpose of Abstract Lines as an entity was instrumental in the concept behind the Abstract Lines identity. The poetic interaction of the ocean and it's riders contains power, motion, and chaos - a moment that disappears but not without effecting the next. This wordmark attempts to capture the complexity of this moment... and also look good on a t-shirt!

Notes

I tried not to take the concept so literally while crafting the mark out of lines. Instead of arranging the features randomly, a subtractive process was used to arrive at the final composition.
